How to Post an Opportunity to the Portal

Application and Submission Process

The application intake form captures preliminary information for a project or business enterprise seeking Opportunity Zone investment.  While the application does capture contact information for your organization, most of the application fields are optional to be filled in only at the applicant’s discretion and based on each project’s needs at the time of submission.  Once submitted, member investor sponsors are given immediate access to the application form and data via an email with links to the application.  See the privacy statement below.  

After submission, applicants should expect direct contact from a potential investor if an investor would like to further explore a fit with their funds. If an investor contacts the applicant, the applicant should anticipate requests for more detailed project information based on the needs of the potential investor’s underwriting and application criteria. This will occur outside and independent of the scope of the portal. 

Applicants may apply for multiple projects and may refresh each respective submission by submitting the intake again. When a new submission is received, the prior submission will be deleted from the active portal database.  Applicants may request that an application be removed from the portal as time and financing needs of the project progress or change. Privacy: 

Information provided through the application process is the responsibility of each applicant. Applications are then made available to the active investors involved.  Applications submitted to the portal remain confidential to the general public and any fellow applicants. 

Applicants will not hold the Opportunity Investment Consortium of Indiana, its affiliates, members, partners and staff liable for any losses, damages, costs, or expenses, of any kind relating to the use or the adequacy, accuracy, or completeness of any information loaded in the database.  Applications submitted to the Opportunity Investment Consortium of Indiana are for information purposes only.  No transactions will be facilitated or closed through the website. Applicants and investors make any decision to enter into a financing transaction independent of this portal or the Opportunity Investment Consortium of Indiana.

In an effort to track progress and improve the portal with time, the Opportunity Investment Consortium reserves the right to contact applicants periodically to inquire whether the respective application or project has advanced toward completion. Responding will be optional, but is encouraged in order to improve the portal with time and provide feedback as this new federal initiative develops.
